Conventional IVF

Our Conventional IVF service offers a personalized approach to fertility treatment for those seeking a more natural method of egg fertilization.

During this process, we combine sperm and eggs in a laboratory culture dish, allowing the sperm to fertilize the egg naturally, relying on its inherent ability to penetrate and initiate fertilization.

This method is often chosen for patients with healthy sperm quality, offering a less invasive approach compared to Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI).

Our expert team works closely with you to understand your specific needs, ensuring that each step of the IVF cycle is carefully tailored to your unique situation. With a focus on your comfort and success, we provide compassionate support and professional care to help you on your path to achieving pregnancy.

At Fertilite Center, we offer Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) as a highly personalized and advanced solution for individuals and couples facing male infertility challenges.

This specialized form of in vitro fertilization (IVF) involves the direct injection of a single sperm into an egg, ensuring fertilization when natural conception is difficult due to issues like low sperm count, poor motility, or abnormal morphology.

We offer IVF Through Egg Donation as a compassionate and personalized solution for individuals and couples looking to build their families.

This advanced fertility treatment involves using in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology to create embryos with either your own eggs or eggs donated by a carefully screened donor.

How Does IVF Work in Our Fertility Center in Tijuana?

In vitro fertilization is a personalized, multi-step process designed to meet your specific needs. A dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and embryologists will guide and support you throughout the journey.

Preparation
You will take hormonal medications for about two weeks to stimulate egg production. In some cases, birth control may also be used to regulate your cycle. During this period, you will be closely monitored to ensure your hormone levels are optimal for egg retrieval.
Egg Retrieval
Our skilled doctors use a thin, ultrasound-guided tube to retrieve eggs while you are under general anesthesia. The 15-minute procedure usually causes only mild cramping, with a 1–2 day recovery.
Sperm Preparation
You and your doctor will decide whether to use fresh or frozen sperm. The chosen sperm will then undergo a "washing" process to isolate the highest-quality sperm for fertilization.
Egg Fertilization
In our lab, sperm is directly injected into each egg to fertilize it. This process is known as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
Embryo Development
The embryos are closely monitored for 5-7 days. Physicians typically recommend freezing all viable embryos for a frozen embryo transfer, which can be performed shortly after the IVF process is completed.
Transfer Preparation
Prior to your embryo transfer, you will receive medications to regulate your egg production and prepare your uterus for implantation. Your doctor will then closely monitor your progress to determine the optimal timing for the transfer, maximizing your chances of success.
Embryo Transfer
This is a quick and straightforward procedure. The selected embryo or embryos are placed into the uterus using a tube inserted through the vaginal canal and cervix. While you may feel some mild discomfort, anesthesia is typically not required for this procedure.
Follow-up
Ten to twelve days after transfer, you'll take a pregnancy test. If positive, we’ll schedule a follow-up; if negative, we’ll meet to discuss next steps. We’re here to support you and explore all options to help you achieve your goals.
